twice a day from the shores of Bali to Gili Trawangan and west
Lombok.
An early or mid morning pick up service from your Bali based
accommodation will take you directly to Padangbai ready for the
safest and most time efficient crossing to Gili Trawangan or Lombok.
The boat is geared carry 32 passengers at a cruising rate of 30
knots. The added convenience of customised seating, a sun deck, a
cabin entertainment system and clean toilet facility ensures that
every crossing is a relaxed experience.
The 80 minute journey will ensure that you’ll be lying on the beach
or snorkelling in tropical waters of Gili Trawanagan in almost no
time at all.
Boat Details
The 14.20 metre Wahana Gili Ocean was launched in May 2010 as the
newest Balinese operated fast boat to make the Lombok Strait
crossing.
A total of four fuel efficient 200 HP Yamaha engines are fitted to
ensure the shortest possible sea crossing with minimum impact to the
local marine eco-system.
The boat is geared carry 32 passengers at a cruising rate of 30
knots. The added convenience of a sun deck, cabin entertainment
system and clean toilet facility ensures that every crossing is a
relaxed experience.
With an accredited captain and engineer in charge, Wahana Gili Ocean
features all the latest navigational and safety equipment including
GPS, depth sounder, ship-to-shore radio, capsule life rafts, life
jackets and fire extinguisher to guarantee peace of mind.
There is ample storage space to stow luggage, surf boards and
personal diving equipment.
Route & Schedule
Wahana Gili Ocean departs twice daily from Padangbai for a direct crossing
to Gili Trawangan and Teluk Nara in west Lombok. Travelling time is
approximately 80 minutes at sea.
Early or mid morning transfers are provided for passengers staying
near the Denpasar Airport, Legian, Kuta, Seminyak, Kerobokan, Sanur, Central
Jimbaran, Central Ubud and Candi Dasa areas. The scenic drive to Padangbai
passes rice terraces, temples and a chain of volcanic mountains.

The following rates are exclusive to Wahana Gili Ocean for passengers travelling between Bali, Lombok and
Gili Trawangan:
The above rates are inclusive of a pick-up and drop-off within the Denpasar Airport, Legian, Kuta, Seminyak, Kerobokan, Sanur, Central Jimbaran, Central Ubud and Candi Dasa areas.
An additional transfer charge applies for guests (both adults and children) staying in Jimbaran Outskirts e.g. Karang Mas Street areas (Rp. 25.000 per person), Ubud Outskirts e.g. Payangan, Pejeng, Keliki, Kedewatan, Tegal Alang (Rp. 50.000 per person), Uluwatu, Nusa Dua, Tanjung Benoa, Canggu (Rp.50.000 per person), Tulamben/Amed (Rp.250.000 per car), Tanah Lot (Rp. 350.000 per car), Kintamani (Rp. 300.000 per car), and Lovina (Rp.500.000 per car).
An additional transfer charge applies for guests carrying surfing boards, Rp. 25.000 per board.
Each passenger will receive a cold face towel, mineral water and
snack box on board.
No show is NON REFUNDABLE.
Children over 4 years of age are subject to full price fares.
Children aged 2- 4 years of age are subject to half price fares.
Infants under 2 years of age travel free of charge.
Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before booking your
ticket of passage with Wahana Gili Ocean.
Unbooked return trips are subject to availability.
No show tickets, late arrivals or cancellations made two days prior
to departure are NON REFUNDABLE.
If the trip is cancelled by Wahana Gili Ocean for any reason, the
company will refund all payments made by the passenger personally
or through a representing agent.
Wahana Gili Ocean is a port to port carrier and will not accept
any responsibility for delays that may cause passengers to miss their
flights out of Lombok or Bali. Passengers are advised against making
onward travel plans the same day as their return trip from Gili Trawangan.
Ticket price covers insurance, cool towel, mineral water and snack
box.
Ticket price also covers a free pick-up & drop-off service within the Denpasar Airport, Legian, Kuta, Seminyak, Kerobokan, Sanur, Central Jimbaran, Central Ubud and Candi Dasa areas. A correct address must be specified at the time of booking. Drivers are authorised to transfer passengers to and from their designated hotel address.

Travelling with Wahana Gili Ocean is NOT SUITABLE for pregnant
women and anyone with a serious back or heart condition.
The journey to and from Gili Trawangan can get extremely bumpy.
Children and infants must not wander around the cabin unaccompanied.
Wahana Gili Ocean will not accept responsibility for children injured
on board the boat.
Conditions of Passage
The following conditions of passage apply for every journey to and from Lombok and Gili Trawangan:
Wahana Gili Ocean accepts no responsibility for the injury to passengers or the loss and/or damage to accompanying luggage.
Passengers are prohibited from bringing aboard explosives, volatile spirits, corrosives, ignitable articles or offensive items that are likely to endanger the vessel or other travellers.
Passengers are entitled to bring 2 pieces of luggage and 2 surf boards each. Gili Wahana Ocean reserves the right to inspect all items of luggage if deemed necessary and refuse items that are considered dangerous (as mentioned above).
Passengers must comply with company safety rules and regulations at all times.
