Komodo Cruise Safari
Komodo Island is one of the most famous attractions in Indonesia, for both domestic and foregn tourists. This unique island is situated east in Flores, and can be reached by bus, airplane and boat transport from other areas in Indonesia.
The most interesting Komodo Island trip is done by boat from Lombok island. It is a three to five day journey of fun, incredible sight-seeing, and a bit of adventure. From the top of the boat,
you can enjoy the view of the ocean and mountains with their natural habitats, as well as the occasional beautiful, silent and deserted island. You can fish off the side of the boat, enjoy tea and coffee, play cards, read a book, drink a cold beer bintang, develop friendships and more.
Almost every boat trip to Komodo Island experiences a visit by dolphins. they swim around the boat,
sometimes following it, jumping into the air and splashing back down into the water. It is like they greet and accompany you on the journey.
Some of the Komodo Island tours stop at various islands along the way - spending a few hours swimming, snorkeling, fishing, and being land-bound for a change. One island in particular, satonda, has a special lake with a story connected to it. Locals hang stones on trees around the lake and make a wish. When a wish comes true, people return to the lake to celebrate with a traditional party.
On this maritime journey, the views at night is very awesome and memorable, especially when it's full moon. The sea is calm, stars is shining brightly, atmosphere completely smiling and friendly with us, you will not forget the wonderful experience of your life.
Ultimately, you will arrive on the island that have famous with Komodo Dragon, including Komodo Island and rinca Island. The Largest monitor carnivore lizards in the world (growing up to ten feet long). there are about 3000 Komodo Dragons on Komodo Island plus Rinca Island. Will I get seasick on an Expedition Cruise?
Seasickness happens when there is a conflict between what your eyes are seeing and what your inner ear, which gives you your sense of balance, is sensing. Your brain then receives a jumble of confusing and contrasting information and you start to feel dizzy, nauseous and headachy. If you are susceptible to motion sickness then you may experience symptoms during a cruise, although symptoms tend to disappear as you adapt to the conditions in one or two days. Your expedition leader will give you tips and advice to help you avoid or deal with any discomfort. We recommend that you speak to a travel health professional about your itinerary before you depart if you are in any doubt or would like to consider medication.
